Limited Edition of 40

In Vedic mythology, soma was described as more than a drink. It was offering, ritual, and threshold. Pressed from plants and poured into sacred fire, it symbolised vision, immortality, and communion with something larger than the self.

Somras is a limited edition illustration art print by Studio Murlï drawing from that lineage without replicating it. A four-armed figure stands composed, a third eye open, hands joined in namaskara. The posture is restrained. The gaze is direct.

Rather than depicting ritual, the work reflects on perception. What it means to bow. What it means to see. Reverence here is not spectacle. It is quiet alignment, an acknowledgment of mystery without the need to solve it.

The composition draws from South Asian spiritual iconography while remaining contemporary in tone and line. Symbolism is intentional, not ornamental. Gesture becomes language.

Hand-drawn and printed as a museum-quality art print on archival matte paper, Somras forms part of Studio Murlï’s debut season. Each edition is limited to 40 prints and will not be reprinted once complete.

Available from A4 through to A1, the print carries clarity and presence across scales, framed or unframed.

Printed on heavyweight archival stock and shipped worldwide in archival-safe packaging.
